Scott Shubert has spent the past twenty-two years in the securities business as an investment advisor to mutual funds, hedge funds and individual investors. He has structured conservative asset allocation models utilizing both fixed income and equity instruments. Throughout the course of his career he has further developed an international equity specialty in both Europe and Latin America, representing the interests of his institutional clientele. Scott began his career at Merrill Lynch in Cleveland, Ohio and then relocated to New York as an institutional equity advisor on Wall Street . During his career, Scott has formed two businesses, including an investment management firm. Scott, previously was a Senior Advisor with Salomon Smith Barney in Charleston, South Carolina.

Ron Owens, a Charleston native, has 15 years of professional experience specializing in corporate finance. Ron has been involved in structuring, financing and providing expertise for a number of start-up and early stage companies. As the previous Controller of two Real Estate firms, Ron has transactional experience including the evaluation, structuring and financing over 300 million dollars in real estate projects. His operational experience covers a wide range of businesses including golf courses, radio stations, marinas and construction companies. Currently Ron is President of Kiawah Capital, LLC, a firm that provides investment advisory services for seasoned companies. Ron is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Analyst charter holder and South Carolina Real Estate Broker.
